From its very first race, Penske Racing stood out from all the other teams in the paddock for its immaculate preparation. This attention to detail was the hallmark of first employee Karl Kainhofer, but was soon adopted by everyone in the organization. When they rolled out the Sunoco 512 for the first time, even the Ferrari team manager said it was the most beautiful Ferrari he had ever seen. Here it is entering the infield at Sebring with Donohue driving.
