John Wyer and David Yorke
1970 24 Hours of Daytona
After helping Aston Martin and Ford win Le Mans, John Wyer teamed up with Porsche in 1970 to campaign the legendary 917. His right-hand man was David Yorke. Although the two achieved great success – they would win here at Daytona in the first race for the Gulf Porsche – they reputedly did not get along very well.
